Udo Kalinna is an IT security expert with years of experience in the IT industry.
In 2013, Udo Kalinna founded the IFASEC GmbH Institute for Application Security, which deals with vulnerability analysis for mobile and web-based applications. Soon after, Mr. Kalinna recognized a high demand in the field of network infrastructure security and pushed the further development of the IT security software SCUDOS. At the end of 2019, Udo Kalinna and Joachim Holder founded SCUDOS Systems GmbH, out of IFASEC GmbH, because they wanted to focus on the IT security software “SCUDOS “.
Mr. Kalinna holds three patents in the field of IT security and works as a consultant for federal and state authorities as well as for global companies. From 2010 to 2017 Mr. Kalinna held the administrative professorship for IT security and media informatics at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer, where he continues to work as a lecturer. Prior to that, Mr. Kalinna worked successfully for over 14 years as a manager in development and sales at Hewlett-Packard and Compaq Computer. Mr. Kalinna studied communications engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund and electrical engineering at the Open University of Hagen.
